About The Position

The Location Supervisor assists the Location Manager with day-to-day operations at assigned locations. The role requires a thorough understanding of location operations, positive client relationships, and improving the efficiency and business of delivery operations. Building client relationships, recruiting, and gaining all of the client’s business at each location are key priorities. This is a manager-in-training position intended to prepare the employee to become a Location Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Prior experience in management and/or logistics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and planning ability.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage time.
Ability to identify and resolve problems, with attention to detail.
Excellent negotiation skills for dealing effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization.
Effective organization and leadership skills.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees.
General computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and AS400.

Responsibilities

Assist the Location Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations.
Manage delivery operations and routes.
Assist with recruiting and retaining contractors.
Promote employee engagement and a positive culture.
Work directly with the client and Location Manager.
Adhere to and enforce operational policies.
Handle warehouse operations at certain locations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Build positive client relationships and seek to gain all of the client’s business at each location.
Identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
Provide timely, professional support to internal and external customers and vendors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
