Location Supervisor

About The Position

The Location Supervisor assists the Location Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at their location(s). The supervisor is expected to understand all aspects of the locations, build positive client relationships, and improve efficiency and business within delivery operations. Relationship building with clients, recruiting, and gaining all of a client's business at each location are top priorities. This role is also a manager-in-training position intended to prepare the supervisor to become a Location Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Prior experience in management and/or logistics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and planning ability.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage time.
Ability to identify and resolve problems and demonstrate attention to detail.
Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization.
Ability to provide timely and professional support to internal and external customers and vendors.
Effective organization and leadership skills.
Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees effectively.
General computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and AS400.

Responsibilities

Assist the Location Manager with day-to-day location operations and prepare to become a Location Manager.
Manage deliveries and routes.
Assist with recruiting and retaining contractors.
Foster engagement and a positive culture.
Work directly with the client and Location Manager.
Adhere to and enforce operational policies.
Oversee warehouse operations at certain locations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
