About The Position

Brass Sales is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to serve customers in its distribution business for the manufactured housing, RV, and towing industries. The role combines customer service and sales with order processing, inventory work, shipping preparation, and maintaining the showroom and sales areas. The associate will receive hands-on training in the company’s products, systems, and processes. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are emphasized; prior relevant experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and regularly stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail, counter sales, warehouse, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in person and over the phone with product questions, orders, and recommendations.
Process customer orders accurately using company computer systems.
Build positive customer relationships through friendly, professional service.
Follow up with customers as needed to ensure their needs are met.
Safely load customer purchases and assist with incoming freight.
Stock shelves, replenish inventory, and maintain organized product displays.
Prepare and organize parcel shipments for daily pickup.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front counter and showroom.
Assist with inventory counts and seasonal merchandising.
Complete additional tasks and projects as needed to support daily operations.
