About The Position

The Refreshment Route Driver at American Food & Vending makes timely deliveries on an established local route. The driver loads and unloads products from a box truck, stocks refreshments in vending machines, kiosks, micro markets, and beverage stations, takes inventory, and interacts with customers and guests throughout the day. The role also involves checking expiration dates and confirming that machines and equipment are clean and operating properly.

Requirements

• Possess a valid state driver's license in good standing.
• Be self-starting and motivated to work independently.
• Pass all DOT requirements, including age requirements under federal regulations set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
• Be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Be able to perform lifting, bending, walking, driving, and stair climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products according to daily order schedules on an established route.
• Load and unload products from a box truck to point-of-sale locations.
• Stock products in vending machines, kiosks, micro markets, and beverage stations.
• Use a handheld device to take inventory, check expiration dates, and verify stock numbers.
• Verify that machines and equipment are clean and operating properly.
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers and account clientele.
