About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Denver, Colorado. The driver delivers products to customers, typically making 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. The role includes recording product quantities and styles delivered and picked up, completing hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations, conducting vehicle inspections, and identifying maintenance needs. The driver also builds relationships with internal and external customers and develops knowledge of Linde’s business.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school.
Valid Class A CDL.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Current hazmat endorsement on the CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day.
Handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service.
Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
Complete hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds.
