About The Position

The Local CDL-A Truck Driver operates a dedicated fleet based at the Walmart Distribution Center in Casa Grande, Arizona. The position runs local and regional routes to retail stores within a 225-mile radius of the distribution center, with drivers returning home daily. Freight is 100% no-touch, with live unloading handled by store receivers. Drivers use late-model, company-maintained day cabs with automatic transmissions in a daily slip-seat operation; trucks must remain at the yard, so drivers commute to the distribution center using reliable personal transportation. Compensation includes Mileage Band Pay, guaranteed Stop Pay, and Detention Pay. The role includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
At least 3 months of verifiable solo Class A CDL driving experience.
Willingness and ability to work any assigned shift, including weekends and night or early-morning dispatches.
Reliable personal transportation to commute daily to the Casa Grande distribution center; trucks must remain at the yard.
Must live within 50 miles of Casa Grande, Arizona.
Must pass a standard DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

Safely execute local and regional delivery loops to retail stores within a 225-mile radius of the Casa Grande distribution center.
Manage 8 to 15 loads per week, averaging 3 to 4 store stops per load.
Commute daily to the Casa Grande distribution center and operate in a slip-seat day cab operation.
