About The Position

The Lobby Houseperson cleans and services assigned hotel public spaces in accordance with franchise and hotel standards. The role maintains quality and cleanliness, reports maintenance deficiencies, responds to guest requests or complaints, and helps ensure guest satisfaction, confidentiality, and security. The position also includes restocking the cart, completing scheduled deep or seasonal cleaning, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of cleaning experience.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers so they understand.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned hotel public areas to the hotel's established cleanliness standards.
• Handle guest complaints and requests, working to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report maintenance deficiencies.
• Maintain quality and cleanliness standards throughout daily assignments.
• Follow house rules, safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
• Protect the confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
• Return and restock the cart at the end of the shift.
• Complete additional deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
