About The Position
The Housekeeping Houseperson helps create enjoyable and comfortable guest experiences by supporting the cleanliness and operation of the hotel. The role involves maintaining guest-floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas; handling soiled linen and trash from Room Attendant carts; moving furniture and flipping mattresses as needed; and greeting guests encountered during the shift. This is an active, high-energy position requiring teamwork, customer-service focus, and flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least one month of related experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to work seamlessly with others and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to stand or sit, carry or lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend or twist, and climb stairs.
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist in keeping guest-floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas clean.
- Empty Room Attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
- Flip mattresses and move furniture as needed.
- Greet guests encountered during the shift with a friendly smile.
