About The Position

The Evening Lobby Bartender prepares and maintains the bar, serves guests, processes orders and payments, and secures beverage supplies and cash. Applicants must provide proof of current Safe Serve/TIPS certification.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a bartender.
• Must provide proof of current certification.
• Applicants are asked to provide proof of Safe Serve/TIPS certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar daily by requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on the daily functions sheet.
• Maintain stock and prepare and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, and mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes and portion controls.
• Follow State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Enter orders at the point of sale and create a check for each guest, including guests served by other beverage servers, to account for beverages served.
• Receive guest cash, provide change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed to balance funds.
• Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment; deposit cash drops; and secure the bank.
• Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
