About The Position
The Lobby Bar Runner supports food and beverage service at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, serving as a link between the kitchen, bar, and service teams. The role delivers orders promptly and accurately, helps ensure food is presented to quality standards, and provides guests with utensils, napkins, condiments, and courteous responses to inquiries. It also includes keeping tables and the bar area clean and organized, maintaining serving equipment, restocking supplies, and assisting with closing duties. The position requires regular attendance, participation in mandatory training and meetings, and flexibility to work schedules that reflect business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation meets Loews’ quality standards.
- Coordinate with bartenders and servers to ensure guests receive the correct items.
- Provide guests with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Communicate special requests or modifications clearly and professionally.
- Respond to guest inquiries about food orders courteously and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and service teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Clear empty plates and dishware, reset tables, and keep the bar area clean and organized.
- Maintain and clean trays and serving equipment throughout the shift.
- Assist with restocking and organizing bar service items, including plates, utensils, and condiments.
- Support closing duties, including cleaning, trash removal, and resetting for the next shift.
- Attend work regularly in conformance with standards and attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
