About The Position

The Lobby Bar Runner supports bar and food service operations at Loews Miami Beach Hotel by coordinating between the kitchen, bar, and service teams. The role delivers orders promptly and accurately, maintains presentation standards, assists guests, and helps keep the bar area organized and clean. The position requires a guest-focused, reliable team member who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying business needs.

Requirements

Ability to bend, lift, and carry; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation meets Loews’ quality standards.
Coordinate with bartenders and servers to ensure guests receive the correct items.
Provide guests with necessary utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Communicate special requests or modifications clearly and professionally.
Respond courteously and efficiently to guest inquiries related to food orders.
Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and service teams to maintain smooth operations.
Clear empty plates and dishware, reset tables quickly, and keep the bar area clean and organized.
Maintain and clean trays and serving equipment throughout the shift.
Assist with restocking and organizing bar service items, including plates, utensils, and condiments.
Support closing duties, including cleaning, trash removal, and resetting for the next shift.
Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards.
Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
