About The Position

The Housekeeping Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel lobby and public areas. Duties include cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. The role also includes assisting guests, reporting maintenance issues, maintaining cleaning-supply inventory, following safety procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize lobby areas, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and ashtrays regularly.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Mop floors as needed.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with inquiries and requests.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest complaints and issues.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
