About The Position

At Regions, the Loan Servicing Single Point of Contact Specialist works with customers going through the foreclosure process as the borrower’s sole point of contact until their financial hardship is resolved. This role is based at Hattiesburg Mortgage Ops in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is intended to be onsite, with regular work hours including full days in the office four or more days a week. The manager sets the work schedule and in-office expectations. The position is full-time, scheduled for 40 hours per week. Training is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, for the first six months. After training, shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with one late shift per week from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (remote) and a rotating Saturday shift from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (remote). Shift assignments may vary based on business needs. The position tracks time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. It is also eligible for incentive pay, with potential incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals. The role may be filled at a higher level depending on qualifications and relevant experience. The target pay range is listed as a minimum of $39,150 and a median of $47,286. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of related experience.
Pass any assessment associated with the position.
Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Act as the direct point of contact for delinquent or imminent-default borrowers and assist them through the loss mitigation servicing process.
Assess, resolve, and execute appropriate workout solutions.
Work with customers to resolve mortgage account delinquency while minimizing company interest losses.
Implement repayment plans as necessary and collect delinquent payments.
Ensure files and paperwork are properly and accurately completed.
Ensure compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices.
Identify opportunities for and support process improvements, applying disciplined change management practices.
Contact outside parties as needed to collect or clarify documentation.
Provide guidance to less experienced associates as needed.
