About The Position

Univest is hiring a dedicated and experienced Loan Servicing and Investor Reporting Analyst to work in Souderton, Pennsylvania. The position focuses on interpreting and translating complex loan documents for commercial, mortgage, and consumer loan verification in the JH operating system. Work includes CIF input, AFT setup, FASB 91 fee and cost records, and understanding and calculating amortized interest. The analyst collaborates with Loan Servicing and Investor Reporting staff and internal and external customers to support accurate, efficient loan portfolio operations and service. The role also maintains Investor Reporting procedures, supports loan-document workflow and training, monitors operational reports and controls, and manages monthly PRA reporting activities.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent related education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend complex loan contracts.
Ability to perform loan accounting computations, including interest accruals, payment amortizations, and billing calculations.
Innovative and able to multitask, with analytical ability and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn current processes and systems and recommend enhancements to improve workflow and efficiency.
Excellent organizational, analytical, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment.
Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work longer hours when needed, required on the last business day of each month and the last business day of the calendar year.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred in a business-oriented field, such as accounting or finance.
Comprehension of mortgage, commercial, and consumer loans is a plus.
Desire to learn and understand investor requirements to complete accurate daily reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Interpret and translate complex commercial, mortgage, and consumer loan documents for verification in the JH operating system, including CIF input, AFT setup, FASB 91 fee and cost records, and amortized interest calculations.
Collaborate with Loan Servicing and Investor Reporting staff and internal and external customers to support accurate and efficient operations and service across loan portfolio channels.
Create and maintain Investor Reporting desktop procedures.
Assist with input, verification, and scanning of loan documents, and provide training to department personnel as necessary.
Review and oversee key operational reports daily, research and resolve exceptions, and complete required sign-offs to demonstrate adherence to controls and audit requirements.
Manage monthly PRA reporting, including monitoring and reviewing report activity, researching and resolving discrepancies, and processing the required month-end wire transaction according to procedures and internal controls.
Research and evaluate problems and provide timely resolutions.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
