About The Position

Powell Valley National Bank is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused lender to join our growing community bank team. This is an excellent, full-time opportunity for an experienced lender—or someone with a strong mortgage lending background who is interested in expanding into commercial and business lending. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, connecting with people, making calls, and actively developing new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and goal-oriented.
• Interest in learning and growing within the lending profession, including mortgage, commercial and business lending.

Nice To Haves

• Mortgage and/or commercial lending experience preferred.
• A strong interest in developing new business and growing customer relationships.
• Comfortable reaching out to prospective customers, making calls, and actively seeking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, and outbound calling.
• Meet with individuals and business owners to identify lending and financial needs.
• Originate and manage consumer, mortgage, and/or commercial loans based on experience and qualifications.
• Work with experienced lenders and bank leadership to develop knowledge and expertise in mortgage, commercial and business lending.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the lending process.
• Represent the Bank in the community and build relationships that support continued growth.
