About The Position

The Loading Associate is responsible for hand loading windows and doors onto outbound customer trailers and internal transfer loads, as well as unloading products received from other customer locations. The role also involves moving windows from production lines to the loading dock and staging them in the appropriate lanes for loading. Work is performed on the 3rd shift, Sunday through Wednesday, from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $19.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Possess a safety and continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist.
Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion.
At least one year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment.

Responsibilities

Hand load windows and doors onto trailers according to the manifest and established quality and safety standards.
Unload windows and doors and stage them in the correct dock locations according to established quality and safety standards.
Load or unload trailers at a rate of at least 150 cube per hour while meeting quality and safety standards.
Use a tugger as needed to move windows and doors from production lines and place carts in the appropriate staging lanes.
Scan windows to the correct staging lane upon delivery.
Adhere to and actively support departmental 5S initiatives.
Work overtime as needed.
