About The Position

Titan America, LLC. is hiring a Loader Operator for the Center Sand aggregates plant in Clermont, Florida. This is a wage, non-exempt position in the Quarry Production Department that reports to the Production Supervisor / Lead man. The role involves operating and maintaining a loader, supporting quarry production, completing inspections and documentation, and following safety requirements.

Requirements

Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions to carry out sufficient repair orders.
Ability to walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic knowledge of material specifications.
Knowledge of equipment operation.

Nice To Haves

Welding and cutting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and promptly report safety hazards or concerns.
Audit mitigation of safety hazards or concerns.
Complete required documentation and submit it on time.
Load trucks efficiently and load or carry material as required.
Continuously communicate with the Plant Tower Operator for Scale Weighmaster.
Maintain the pad level and keep the loading area clear of debris.
Keep equipment clean and safe.
Perform utility tasks, such as shoveling and water hosing, when the primary equipment or truck is down and as required.
Perform miscellaneous work with the loader as assigned by the Quarry Manager or Lead man.
Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment.
Follow all safety checks, rules, and regulations.
Assist with other physical work and directives given by the Supervisor that the mine may require.
