LNA PCA Caregiver
About The Position
Executive Home Care of Southeast New Hampshire is hiring part-time and per diem LNA/PCA caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in the Dunbarton, New Hampshire area. The role helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes through person-centered assistance with daily routines. Caregivers work independently while following individual care plans and workplace policies, and communicate with supervisors or care coordinators about client concerns. Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience in a private home, assisted living community, healthcare facility, or similar setting.
- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, families, and team members.
- A patient, respectful attitude and a genuine interest in helping others.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow individual care instructions.
Nice To Haves
- An active New Hampshire LNA license or PCA qualification is preferred.
- Dementia care training or certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene.
- Support clients with walking, repositioning, and transfers while following safe care practices.
- Observe clients for changes in condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care coordinator.
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed, respecting individual dietary requirements.
- Help maintain clients’ homes through light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist with errands and other routine activities as appropriate to the client’s care plan.
- Provide conversation, companionship, and reassurance.
- Follow established care plans and workplace policies to provide consistent, respectful care.
