About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a live-in caregiver to provide care to clients in their own homes in Danbury and nearby towns, Connecticut. This is a field position where you will travel to clients' homes to support them through the day. You will help with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and errands, provide companionship, and ensure the client stays safe at home. You will also follow the care plan and keep the office updated.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience
• Ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
