About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a live-in caregiver to provide care to clients in their own homes in Waterbury and Litchfield County. This is a field position where you will travel to clients' homes. Hiring, onboarding, and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Central Connecticut office. The role involves living in the client's home to support them throughout the day, assisting with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and errands. You will also provide companionship, ensure the client's safety at home, follow the care plan, and keep the office updated.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
