About The Position

UniversaCare is seeking a dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide essential support to clients in their homes within Waterbury and Litchfield County. This role involves residing in the client's home and offering comprehensive assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. The caregiver will work closely with the UniversaCare of Central Connecticut office, located at 534 Frost Road, 2nd Floor, Waterbury, CT 06705, and will be responsible for adhering to established care plans and maintaining open communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
