About The Position

UniversaCare is seeking a dedicated live-in caregiver to provide comprehensive support to clients in their homes in Danbury, Connecticut, and surrounding areas. This role involves residing in the client's home and offering assistance with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and errands. The caregiver will also provide companionship, ensure the client's safety, and adhere to a personalized care plan, while maintaining regular communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
