About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a live-in caregiver to care for clients in Bridgeport and nearby towns, Connecticut. The role involves living in the client's home and providing support throughout the day, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and companionship to ensure the client's safety at home. The caregiver will follow a care plan and maintain communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
