About The Position

UniversaCare is seeking a dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide essential support to clients in Fairfield County. This role involves residing in the client's home to offer comprehensive care, including personal assistance, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and companionship, while ensuring their safety. The caregiver will be responsible for adhering to the established care plan and maintaining regular communication with the UniversaCare of Southern Connecticut office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
