About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a live-in caregiver to provide care to clients in their own homes in Hartford and nearby towns, Connecticut. This is a field position where you will travel to clients' homes to support them through the day. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and errands, providing companionship, ensuring the client's safety, and following the care plan while keeping the office updated.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience
• Ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
