About The Position

UniversaCare is seeking a live-in caregiver to provide in-home care to clients in Norwalk and surrounding towns in Connecticut. This is a field position where you will reside in the client's home and support them throughout the day. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, running errands, providing companionship, ensuring client safety, and adhering to the care plan while maintaining communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience
• Ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
