About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a live-in caregiver to care for clients in Hartford and nearby towns, Connecticut. This role involves living in the client's home and providing comprehensive support, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and companionship, while ensuring the client's safety. The caregiver will follow a prescribed care plan and maintain regular communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
