LIVE IN CAREGIVER CNA, HHA, PCA
About The Position
FCP Live-In is seeking compassionate, caring, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), or Personal Care Aides (PCAs) with experience working with the elderly for Live-In Caregiver positions throughout New England (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont). Live-In Caregivers assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, ambulation assistance, medication reminders, companionship, cooking, meal preparation, shopping, running errands, transportation to appointments, and homemaking activities. This role also includes specialized care such as Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care and Hospice Care.
Requirements
- Certified CNA, HHA, or PCA
- Experience working with the elderly
- Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations
- Successful clearance of state, federal and company background and reference checks
- Flexible availability with the willingness to work throughout New England
Responsibilities
- Perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living
- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing
- Provide ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Offer medication oversight and reminders
- Provide companionship, socializing with the client, and purposeful engagement
- Facilitate client wellness
- Cook meals and prepare snacks
- Shop for groceries and household items, run errands, and provide transportation to appointments
- Perform homemaking activities
- Provide Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care
- Provide Hospice Care
