About The Position

The Live Hang Team Member performs entry-level general labor duties in support of Live Hang operations, following Tyson safety policies and procedures. Team members work in various production positions as assigned, receive required training and cross-training, and help maintain Tyson’s safety culture. The role involves fast-paced, repetitive physical work and requires respectful, safe handling of work around live birds while complying with animal welfare policies. Additional duties may be assigned to support production needs. The position requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift. Work may take place in dusty, hot, humid, cold, damp, and slippery conditions. The stated pay rate is $22.85 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to push and pull materials weighing up to 40 lbs. as required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.
Ability to work in varying dusty, hot, humid, cold, damp, and slippery conditions.
Good physical condition and hand dexterity for constant reaching, pushing, and pulling motions.
Willingness and ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ability to follow safety procedures and animal welfare standards.
Willingness to perform various assigned production roles.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
