About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at the New Holland Plant. The role maintains a safe work environment, follows Tyson policies and procedures, promotes the Tyson safety culture, and completes required training. Team members perform various assigned positions and must abide by animal welfare policies while working safely and respectfully around live birds. The position requires physical work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motions and may involve dusty, hot and humid, cold and damp conditions and slippery surfaces. Applicants must be willing and able to wear required personal protective equipment and perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Applications are active only for the month submitted; applicants must reapply the following month to remain under consideration. Applicants must provide a government identification number to verify prior Tyson employment. This facility does not accept applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods three or more times, and accepts rehires after 180 days, subject to Tyson's discretion. Applicants who have worked for Tyson two times will not be considered.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously; some positions require lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds.
Able and willing to wear personal protective equipment.
Good physical condition and good hand dexterity for constant reaching, pushing, and pulling motions.
Able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must provide a government identification number for verification of prior Tyson employment history.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson two times will not be considered; the facility does not accept applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods three or more times.
Rehires are accepted after 180 days, subject to Tyson's discretion and the reason for dismissal.
