VHE - General Plant Labor - Day Shift
About The Position
The General Plant Laborer completes general activities on the production floor, assisting with the production, preparation, and storage of company products. The role includes placing boxed products on pallets and maintaining housekeeping in the production plant and warehouse. Employees must follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. The position is in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant. Conditions may be wet or dry, with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. The work requires repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending while handling packages weighing more than 35 pounds, as well as walking and standing for extended periods. Production demands may require overtime or evening and weekend scheduling.
