About The Position

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is hiring permanent part-time Sales Associates, also called Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks, for Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store #3601 at New Holland Shopping Center. The role provides customer service, supports sales and store operations, and helps maintain a welcoming, organized shopping environment. Employees may be assigned to other stores within the county or district based on operational needs. Telework is not available. Employees must be at least 18 years old, meet Pennsylvania residency requirements, be able to perform the essential job functions, and pass a background investigation. A felony conviction within the last ten years of the prospective employment date disqualifies an applicant under the Pennsylvania Liquor Code; other criminal convictions are reviewed case by case. The position offers Affordable Care Act / Bronze Plan medical benefits from the first day of employment. Work hours vary, with a required minimum of 13 hours per week and the opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week. Preferred availability is 20–32 hours per week. Shifts are flexible and typically last 4–7.5 hours; rotating schedules may include weekday and weekend daytime and evening hours. The store is accessible by public transportation, has free staff parking, and is near food and restaurant options.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service and help shoppers find products.
Manage sales transactions using a computerized cash register.
Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, and load them into vehicles.
Safely lift and handle products weighing 30–50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, including overhead or from a squatting position.
Stand for extended periods.
Keep the store clean and organized.
Use scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Follow legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers legally permitted to purchase it.
Work collaboratively in a team-oriented retail environment.
