About The Position
Career Developers Inc. is recruiting a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney for its client. The attorney will join a collaborative team of professionals representing sophisticated clients facing complex legal challenges. The position is hybrid in Madison, New Jersey, and full-time, with a salary range of $140,000 to $170,000 depending on JD year.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice and experience in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts.
- At least 2 years of experience with personal injury and premises liability.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in maintaining billable-hours goals.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in commercial litigation and civil litigation.
- Experience with motion practice, report writing, discovery, and depositions.
- Trial and trial-preparation experience.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end.
- Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.
- Handle court appearances and depositions regularly.
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
