About The Position

Offit Kurman is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing practice in the Dallas area. The role is based in Collins County and is a full-time, in-office position. The practice focuses primarily on employment litigation, with additional opportunities to handle a variety of commercial disputes. The attorney will represent both employers and employees in employment matters and handle commercial litigation matters.

The position is suited to a hands-on litigator who can manage cases, take depositions, appear in court, and work directly with clients. The attorney will handle matters independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on more complex cases. Trial experience is welcome but not required.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 or more years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling depositions and taking an active role in litigation proceedings.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, injunction matters, and other contested proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies and work directly with clients.
• Handle matters independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on more complex cases.
