About The Position
Kaufman Dolowich is seeking an attorney to join its growing Labor and Employment practice group in its Philadelphia office. The firm is a full-service national law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas. The Employment Practice Group represents employers in complex, high-profile employment matters across a broad range of industries. The attorney will independently manage sophisticated employment matters through all phases of litigation and collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases. The role offers mentorship, professional growth and advancement opportunities, client development, meaningful client contact, and hands-on litigation experience. Compensation is determined based on market location, experience, skills, and overall qualifications. The total rewards package includes base salary, discretionary and billable-hours-based bonus opportunities, and benefits.
Requirements
- Admission to practice in Pennsylvania is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of employment litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset and a strong desire for professional growth and advancement.

Responsibilities
- Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and motions.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Manage case files and assist with all aspects of case progression from inception through resolution.
- Perform case assessments and evaluate liability and exposure.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing strategic legal guidance and case updates.
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
