About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to join our growing civil litigation practice in New York City. This is a hands-on role offering substantial responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and direct courtroom exposure from day one. The successful candidate will work closely with senior litigators on a broad range of civil disputes, including commercial litigation, contract disputes, employment matters, real estate and landlord-tenant disputes, professional liability, and general civil controversies in both state and federal courts.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
• 1–3 years of post-bar litigation experience
• Strong understanding of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, New York CPLR, Federal Rules of Evidence, and local court rules
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and litigation-related documents
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Professional communication and client management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment

Nice To Haves

• Admission to the Southern and/or Eastern Districts of New York
• Experience in commercial or employment litigation
• Familiarity with e-discovery tools
• Prior judicial internship or clerkship experience

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, affidavits, and other court submissions
• Conducting legal research and analysis
• Managing discovery
• Preparing deposition materials
• Assisting with hearings and trials
• Handling electronic filings
• Maintaining litigation calendars and deadlines
• Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
