About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite Linen Distribution Supervisor position. While the primary schedule is first shift, this leadership role requires flexibility to work second shift as needed to support operations and ensure adequate staffing. Applicants should apply only if they can meet this scheduling expectation. The purpose of this role is to provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. The job summary is responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital, providing a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day.
Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts.
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.
Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.

Responsibilities

Fill and move carts to assigned areas within the hospital.
Provide a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner.
Meet quality and safety standards.
Be on time.
Have excellent attendance.
Meet established hospital standards.

Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.

Be able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise.
Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit.
Cross-train in other positions per facility needs.
