About The Position

Core Linen Services provides hospital and hospitality laundry processing services, with a focus on service, quality, and safety. The Linen Transporter ensures linen carts are fully stocked, counts and records terry and linen inventory, moves heavy loads, and picks up soiled linen from hospital floors. The role delivers clean linen to hospital departments, fills orders from hospital staff, and helps keep linen rooms and carts organized. The employee must follow company policies and safety procedures, maintain a neat uniformed appearance, adhere to attendance and timekeeping requirements, notify a manager of absences, keep company equipment clean and organized, report customer service or satisfaction issues, and maintain a professional, courteous attitude. The position may also involve other duties not listed in the description.

Requirements

Pass a background check.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Be able to push or pull a wheeled cart weighing 650 pounds.
Be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Build clean, neat, organized carts to the standard par level.
Deliver clean linen to different hospital departments.
Pick up soiled carts from all floors when working the second shift.
Take and fill orders from hospital staff.
Clean linen rooms as necessary, including sweeping, mopping, and picking up.
Open new linen for processing.
Align and stage carts as needed.
Count and record terry and linen inventory.
Keep company equipment clean and organized.
Follow company policies, attendance and timekeeping procedures, and safety and universal precautions.
Report problems or issues related to customer service and satisfaction.
Maintain a neat uniformed appearance and a professional, courteous attitude.
Notify a manager each day the employee is absent.
