About The Position
Core Linen Services is a provider of hospital and hospitality laundry processing services, operating across more than 20 states. At Grandview Hospital, the Linen Transporter ensures linen carts are fully stocked, delivers clean linen to hospital departments, picks up soiled linen, and counts and records linen inventory. The role involves pushing and pulling heavy loads and maintaining clean, organized carts and linen areas. The successful candidate follows company policies, attendance and safety procedures, and universal precautions; maintains a neat uniform and professional, courteous manner; keeps company equipment clean and organized; and reports issues affecting customer service and satisfaction. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, pass a background check, lift 50 pounds, and push or pull a wheeled cart weighing 650 pounds. Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Build clean, neat, organized carts to the standard par level.
- Deliver clean linen to different hospital departments.
- Pick up soiled carts from all floors when working the second shift.
- Take and fill orders from hospital staff.
- Clean the linen room as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and picking up.
- Open new linen for processing.
- Align and stage carts as needed.
- Count and record terry and linen inventory.
- Keep company equipment clean and organized.
- Follow company policies, attendance requirements, safety procedures, and universal precautions.
- Maintain a neat appearance in uniform and a professional, courteous attitude.
- Report problems or issues related to customer service and satisfaction.
