About The Position

Core Linen Services is a provider of hospital and hospitality laundry processing services, focused on service, quality, and safety. The Linen Distribution Tech works at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay, Wisconsin, delivering clean linen throughout hospital departments, handling soiled linen and carts, filling orders, and maintaining organized linen rooms and carts. This is a full-time position scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; rotating weekends may be required. An annual flu shot is required. Pay is $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull a wheeled cart weighing 650 pounds.
• Ability to count and record terry and linen inventory.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced health care environment.
• Annual flu shot is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen to different hospital departments.
• Pick up soiled carts from all floors when working the second shift.
• Take and fill orders from hospital staff.
• Ensure exchange carts are delivered to the floors.
• Ensure soiled linen is picked up and taken to the receiving dock.
• Ensure soiled carts are full, planning consolidation when they are not.
• Report issues or concerns to a supervisor immediately.
• Leave the linen room neat and organized at the end of the shift.
• Build clean, neat, organized carts to the standard par level.
• Align and stage carts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
