LINE SERVER (TEMPORARY)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a temporary Line Server at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Line Server is responsible for the final preparation of food items served in the food-service area, following applicable federal, state, and local standards and the organization’s policies and procedures. The position may be directed by a kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to ensure quality service. The role includes preparing and serving food and beverages, providing attentive customer service, maintaining food presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion-control standards, cleaning work areas and equipment, and delivering food items to and from the main kitchen. The Line Server also helps maintain a clean and safe environment, works cooperatively with other departments, and contributes to a professional team.
Requirements
- Previous related experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
- Participate in preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control, including HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
- Clean work areas and equipment used in food preparation and service.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Deliver food items to and from the main kitchen.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff.
- Cooperate with staff from other departments in performing job duties.
- Contribute to the team and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
