About The Position

Requirements

Be food-safety certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
Be able to learn restaurant menus and recipes.
Be comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 30 pounds, as well as continuously bend, reach, and twist.
Be able to make decisions and work independently and as part of a team.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items to company specifications.
Plate prepared foods according to the chef’s guidance.
Set up, operate, break down, and clean kitchen equipment.
Assist with washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and sanitizing utensils as needed.
Maintain restaurant kitchen sanitation and food-service safety standards.
