About The Position

Kendall’s Tavern & Chophouse in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, is hiring a Line Cook. Requirements

Food safety certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Ability to learn restaurant menus and recipes.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to continuously bend, reach, and twist.
Ability to make decisions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items to company specifications.
Plate prepared foods according to the chef’s guidance.
Set up, operate, break down, and clean kitchen equipment.
Assist with dishwashing, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and sanitizing utensils as needed.
Uphold restaurant kitchen sanitation and food-service safety standards.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and restaurant staff.
