About The Position

The Custodian performs cleaning activities and is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest entrances, lobby areas, restrooms, restaurant, bar, kitchens, and outside perimeter locations. The role includes snow and ice removal when necessary, maintaining interior and exterior trash areas, and following applicable cleanliness, sanitation, and safety regulations. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to position oneself to move about regularly.
• Ability to operate and use tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to communicate with employees and management.
• Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest entrances, lobby areas, restrooms, restaurant, bar, kitchens, and outside perimeter locations, including snow and ice removal when necessary.
• Clean lobby, doors, public areas, offices, restaurant, and bar; sweep and mop floors; arrange and dust furniture and wood surfaces; and clean glass, doors, windows, mirrors, door push plates, and light switch covers.
• Clean and stock restrooms, including doors, urinals, toilets, stall doors, and entryways.
• Segregate and remove trash, place it in designated containers, and take out trash and recycling.
• Clean and maintain interior and exterior trash areas.
• Comply with local, state, and national regulations concerning cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
