Custodian - Kendall's Tavern & Chophouse
About The Position
The Custodian performs cleaning activities to maintain the cleanliness of guest entrances, lobby areas, restrooms, restaurant, bar, kitchens, and outside perimeter locations at Kendall’s Tavern & Chophouse in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Duties include snow and ice removal when necessary, cleaning and stocking restrooms, removing trash and recycling, and maintaining interior and exterior trash areas. The role follows local, state, and national regulations for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety and completes other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Ability to move about and position oneself to perform job duties.
- Ability to operate and use tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to communicate with employees and management.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of guest entrances, lobby areas, restrooms, restaurant, bar, kitchens, and outside perimeter locations, including snow and ice removal when necessary.
- Clean lobbies, doors, public areas, offices, restaurants, and bars; sweep and mop floors; arrange and dust furniture and wood surfaces; and clean glass, windows, mirrors, door push plates, and light switch covers.
- Clean and stock restrooms, including doors, urinals, toilets, stall doors, and entryways.
- Segregate and remove trash and place it in designated containers; take out trash and recycling.
- Clean and maintain interior and exterior trash areas.
- Comply with applicable local, state, and national cleanliness, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
