About The Position
Wings ‘N More is seeking a Line Cook for its WNM Express location on HWY 21 in Bryan, Texas. The company, founded in 1987, serves food made with quality ingredients and emphasizes fresh preparation and Texas hospitality. The Line Cook prepares and packages orders, maintains food quality and kitchen cleanliness, and helps provide guests with a positive restaurant experience.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Quickly scan and understand order tickets and abbreviations.
- Use good judgment to determine when wings are perfectly cooked.
- Filter and freshen fryer shortening daily.
- Follow safe cooking procedures.
- Properly package orders in their final containers and present wings attractively.
- Understand and carry out ongoing cleaning procedures for the assigned position and shift.
- Assist with unloading delivery boxes.
- Help keep the kitchen clean throughout the shift and clean at closing.
- Assist other employees as needed.
- Help ensure each guest has a positive, lasting impression of the restaurant experience.
