About The Position
Wings ‘N More is seeking a Line Cook for its Wings N More To Go location in Corpus Christi, Texas. The company, founded in 1987, describes its approach as combining quality ingredients, generous portions, and genuine Texas hospitality. The Line Cook prepares food fresh for each order, handles order tickets, cooks and packages wings and other orders, and helps maintain a clean kitchen while contributing to a positive guest experience.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Quickly scan and understand order tickets and abbreviations.
- Use good judgment to determine when wings are perfectly cooked.
- Filter and freshen fryer shortening daily.
- Follow safe cooking procedures.
- Properly package orders and present wings attractively in the packaging.
- Understand and carry out ongoing cleaning procedures for the position and shift.
- Assist with unloading delivery boxes.
- Help keep the kitchen clean throughout the shift and clean at closing.
- Assist other employees as needed.
- Help ensure each guest has a positive, lasting impression of the restaurant experience.
