About The Position
Wings ‘N More is hiring a Line Cook for Wings 'N More Express in Conroe, Texas. Founded in 1987, the company describes its food as made with quality ingredients, generous portions, and genuine Texas hospitality. The Line Cook prepares food fresh to order, handles and packages wings and other orders, follows safe cooking and cleaning procedures, and helps maintain the kitchen and support the team. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Able to lift 60 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Quickly scan and understand order tickets and abbreviations.
- Use good judgment to determine when wings are done.
- Filter and freshen fryer shortening daily.
- Follow safe cooking procedures.
- Package orders in the final container and present wings neatly.
- Understand and carry out ongoing cleaning procedures for the position and shift.
- Assist with unloading delivery boxes.
- Help keep the kitchen clean throughout the shift and clean at closing.
- Assist other employees as needed.
- Help ensure each guest has a positive, lasting impression of the restaurant experience.
