Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House is seeking a Full Time Line Cook. We are hosting WALK-IN WEDNESDAY interviews every Wednesday from 12 PM - 2 PM at 2500 E. Devon Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60018. Free parking and a free shuttle from the Rosemont Blue Line Station are available. The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and breaking down their station, preparing and cooking items to specification, ensuring excellent presentation of food, managing multiple orders simultaneously, restocking and maintaining prep for their station, and occasionally assisting with buffet and production cooking. All cooks are expected to maintain a high degree of sanitation, keep their work area clean, report to work on time, communicate product shortages, handle deliveries, monitor food freshness and availability using FIFO procedures, check food temperatures, and ensure quality control. Cooks must maintain thorough communication between shifts, stay updated on departmental policies, execute recipes per guidelines, and comply with all departmental rules. Additionally, all cooks must provide excellent guest service, treating guests promptly, professionally, and courteously, and perform all other assigned duties.
