About The Position

Hai Hospitality and LORO, an Asian Smokehouse & Bar, are seeking a Line Cook to join the kitchen team and help create excellent dining experiences for guests. The position offers $18–$21 per hour, based on experience, and opportunities for long-term growth within the organization. Line Cooks work in a fast-paced kitchen, use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, keep workspaces clean and organized, and communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership. Requirements

Effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
Identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards.
Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 pounds.
Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, and reach to access areas and items.
Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and in a variety of hot and cold temperatures.
Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs.
Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and knives.
Work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area.
Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors.
Understand directives and communicate effectively with leadership and coworkers.

Responsibilities

Help create dining experiences for guests as a member of the kitchen team.
Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and knives.
Maintain a neat and organized workspace, properly store supplies, and clean surfaces.
Stock inventory and perform restocking duties.
Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
Follow safety guidelines and standards and identify potential safety issues.
Move quickly and efficiently to respond to customer needs.
Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance, including proper uniform and personal grooming.
